From 10am to 5pm. Minimum number of 5 rounds

Timetable

Round 1 begins at 10am on Saturday morning with the following rounds starting as soon as possible after the previous round finishes. Lunch break is approximately 1pm to 2pm. We aim to finish before 5pm.

Time Control

All moves in 25 minutes, with 5 second increments from move 1.

Grading

All games will be eligible for Chess Scotland main list grading and qualify for the Chess Scotland Walter Munn Junior Grand Prix.

Prizes

Books. Medals and chess prizes for prize winners.

Conditions of Entry

The organisers reserve the right to:

• Refuse entry without assigning a reason
• Take any other measures deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the congress

The Saturday Evening Fun FIDE Open Blitz

For juniors who would like to play some fun blitz chess, why not enter our fun blitz event on Saturday evening? We take entries on the day, right up to the start of the competition and we offer a variety of prizes for all levels. Start time 7.30pm. Finish time 10pm approx. 7 Rounds.
